How to play Symble
Each time you play Symble, you will get three symbols that each have a unique meaning. While attempting to guess a word in Symble, you will be presented with a set of five symbols on top of an invisible form of the answer. Each symbol corresponds to the letter that is immediately below it in the unseen response. It is important to reiterate that the symbols correspond to the letters in the solution, not the letters in your guess.
The following example demonstrates what each of the three sorts of symbols may represent. Take in mind that the solution is shown above the symbols in order to assist you understand how to play. The solution would not be shown in an actual game. Consider that the solution to a Symble problem is SHAKE. Guess the word "THICK" if you don't already know it. This is an image including five symbols.
The first character is identical to the letter S in SHAKE. That signifies "the letter I'm covering is not in your guess," since your prediction for THICK did not include a S. The other two symbols, which correspond to the letters A and E in positions three and five of SHAKE, are identical.
The second symbol is identical to the letter H in "shake." That implies "the letter I'm covering is in your guess and in the correct position" since your estimate of "THICK" had a H in the second position, which is where it should be.
The fourth character is identical to the letter K in SHAKE. As your estimate of THICK had a K in the incorrect position, this says "the letter I'm covering is in your guess, but not in the correct position."
When you begin a Symble problem, you obviously do not know which symbol represents which concept, nor which letters of the solution the symbols represent. You must use your deductive reasoning abilities to determine the significance of each symbol and then utilize that knowledge to deduce the hidden solution.
