Subwaydle
Subwaydle is a browser game in which you are given six attempts to estimate a subway ride with two potential transfers. Subwaydle, like Wordle, demands every guess to be a genuine word. If a train line isn't on the route, it's gray; if it is on the route but is now in the incorrect position, it's yellow; and if it's both the right line and the proper spot, it's green. No journey includes a brief stop at a metro bar.
Sunny Ng, a NYC software developer, created the game after being inspired by pre-pandemic quiz sessions at the New York City Transit Museum. Try your hand at a problem to see if you can solve it, but be warned: each weekday's challenge may have up to 6,835 different variations. (Hilariously, there are only 4,188 options on weekends since the game alters to reflect weekend service.) You may get a clue that tells you where the journey begins and ends.
In six attempts, guess the SUBWAYDLE.
Each estimate must be a genuine subway journey including three trains with available transfers between them.
You must predict a precise group of three trains that can complete the journey.
